New to investing looking for help getting started ... Any help will do

Im new to investing I'm a union electrician I can fix about anything in a home but I really dont know how to get started flipping or holding homes. I really dont want to just jump in with out knowledge and hopefully a person that can point me in the right direction. Any help will do thanks in advance.

I'd start by finding a local real estate investment club. Attending some meetings. Listen to the BP pod-casts, and of course read through the different forums to see what part of this biz trips your trigger. You also need to figure out exactly what you want to accomplish with REI. (make more money) is not specific enough if you really think about it.
