To Laptop, or Not Laptop?

As my wife and I begin our journey into real estate we are looking at upgrading our technology. We are looking strongly at a few laptops at the moment and I wanted to reach out to see what all the pro's here are currently using? Any opinions between laptops and tablets? As always, a huge thank you in advance for your replies/input!
