So try them and see if they will give you info on the property.

That's a great bit of information Mike. I'm going to try that. Thank you.

There is a property in my area that has been vacant for 2+ years. It is still listed online as in 'pre-foreclosure' and it is owned by Bank of America. Is it possible that a property could be in pre-foreclosure for that long? Also, does anyone know how to inquire about the property from BOA? They seem like such a behemoth,  I don't know where to start. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Welcome Ken! BP has everything you could ever need in a RE resource. Take a thorough look around and check out last nights podcast if you can, as well. It covered how to use BP and all its resources effectively. Feel free to reach out.

As my wife and I begin our journey into real estate we are looking at upgrading our technology. We are looking strongly at a few laptops at the moment and I wanted to reach out to see what all the pro's here are currently using? Any opinions between laptops and tablets? As always, a huge thank you in advance for your replies/input!

My wife and I attended our first Atlanta REIA meeting last month and it was great. I found that there were people from all different facets of the business which made it a great opportunity to learn. Hope to see you there tomorrow!

Those are both great suggestions. I would also look up your local REI groups. Here in the Atlanta area they have meetings in different parts of the area throughout the month. In town, West Side etc. Good luck!

We got to the point of having a contract offered to us and decided against it for the time being. Phil certainly knows this business and I believe they are legitimate - not a scam at all. That being said, the 50/50 split up to 500K seemed a steep price. Also, they were somewhat vague in response to questions involving the contract and other issues. For that price, I really want to know specifics of what I am getting in to.

Mark, thanks for your reply. I do understand that ultimately we will be responsible for our own success. I spent twenty years working in restaurants, working my way up from Dishwasher to Head Chef so I embrace hard work and a good challenge. I'm really hoping to hear from anyone who has been with the Freedom Mentor program for a year or two and to get their feedback. Hopefully, I'll be able to sniff out anyone who isn't being honest. Thanks again!

Hello to all, I am new to BP and looking to break into the REI field with my wife. We are wondering if anyone has used the Freedom Mentor program and, in particular, what experiences/opinions you have had? We are having a second round phone interview with them this weekend. I've done some searching on here and other sites for info and have a good idea what to expect as far as the 50/50 split up to 500K sales and entry/monthly fees. Has anyone here gone through their program and have any feedback? Looking back, was it a worthy investment? Thank you in advance for any opinions or input!
