How would you handle this home?

I just purchased a property, and i'm not to sure if i should stick it out by renting it or resaling it. I owe $26,000 and i could resale the home for $32,000, or i could put $3-4,000 into the property and rent each side out for $700 a month tenant pays the utilities. The problem i have is that the home was built in 1900 and the area is not the best but its not the worse between low and mid class. If you need more details let me know. taxes are $1023 a year and insurance is $590 a year. One side comes with a block garage about 15'x20'. let me know what you would do.
