flipping distressed properties on south side of Chicago

Hi everyone.  Brand new member here, first post actually.  I was coming on today to get some advice from some seasoned vets who have flipped in the south side of chicago.  I was looking to get in near the calumet city, riverdale area.  

A little bit about me.. I own my own hvac/handyman business and was very interested in getting into flipping houses..  I have some good contacts as far as contractors goes, but thats about as far as it goes.  I really dont know any agents or brokers in that area.

Im really just looking to get some advice of some good areas to invest in.. I have about 70k in liquid assests to invest in my first property. Also what to expect from these houses.. average sell time and average ARV in that area..
