One question for BPers about Rehab cost and completion time.
It seems like my current rehab is taking longer to complete and more money to get it completely done. I recently bought a property near Pearland, TX and the rehab has been going on for almost 3 months now. I thought i would have the property done and completed by now, but looks like it might take 2 more months to finish. This is what's going on with the property right now. The property just got a new electrical rewire and new breaker box. Plumbing is almost completed. New fence is completed. Demo is done. New roof is installed. The things that are left to do is to get a new HVAC installed, insulation, sheetrock, painting, flooring, landscaping, outside trim, cabinets, and other small stuffs such as installing a prefabricated bathroom tube and surround. Oh, i also need to pass my inspection for my electrical work and plumbing and A/C. I don't have a general contractor. I hire subcontractors and pay hourly and sometimes by the job. This remodel is taking longer time to complete and is about to go over my budget, but i am not discouraged. I am planning to fork out 10k more to finish whatever is left. Anyhow, my question is... Is 2 months reasonable enough time to finish whatever is left? Any Advice? Thanks in advance.

@Account Closed What cut my rehab total cost down and schedule tight is having contractors that all know and like each other. You can stack them on each other and everyone gets along, they all like the same burritos and music.
Throwing new contractors together under one roof, creating a schedule and closing your eyes is a recipe for disaster (which I'm not saying your doing).
