okay so I'm 17 years old and in my last year of high school. College isn't in my plans. I plan on working in the construction field, starting out as a construction laborer. I also want to flip houses. You know, buy them and rent them out. Any advice as to how to purchase my first property?

After high school is over pursue the construction job to earn money and learn.  Then join a low cost realtor firm and get your license.  Then work construction, lease places for people,  maybe sell a property or two and save up cash.  When your done you will know how to find places, fix them, and lease them.  A lot of things in America are "instant" but this one is a longer journey then that.  you can't just order #4 off the taco bell drive through and it happens in this industry.
