I am looking to expand my real estate "empire" over the next five year. I currently have two units rented and will have two more available for rent by the end of the month hopefully depending on how quickly the utilities get things finished. I am looking at acquiring another one or two properties this year and maybe six to ten next year and onward. The ultimate goal is to transition to full time REI in three to five years when my current full time job is goes away by another company taking over the contract.

I am looking at setting up more of a business setup and am looking at naming.  I didn't really like the common Ewing Properties or similar because  it sort of sounds pretentious.  Also my wife's legal last name isn't Ewing either which confuses people.  To top it off there are already a couple of them out there in other states.  I am thinking about using the name Shining Moon Properties.  This is a continuation of a naming convention for a couple of other businesses we have.  Does anyone see any issues with using this name?

I grabbed the domain name SMPTX.COM because it was available and one thing I learned over 15 years of web design is that short names sometimes get grabbed quick.  At $10 it can be discarded if not used.  I used to maintain about fifty domain names with about half reserved for just in case I had an idea and time to do something with them.
