Blind Pool Investment Groups

I'm trying to find a pool of investors in the SF bay area to join.  I've also thought about creating my own with my own network but it is not currently deep enough.  How do I go about finding a blind pool investment group in the areas I'm interested in investing in particularly if investors cannot be solicited publicly?  It seems to be the classic case of "who you know."

Hi Joshua,

Welcome to Biggerpockets. Meet-ups and local REI Club are the best place to make connections. There is definitely a lot of money in SFBA. We have about 20 investors in our group and NOT looking for more. Some BP members have asked me privately to be in our investment group, but we just don't have enough deal flow for everyone.

@J. Martin is hosting a meet-up in Oakland once a month. It's free so you should consider to attend and network.  Keep on networking. Your network = your networth.
