Hello BP I am currently going to school for a finance degree with a specialization in real estate. I was curious if anyone out there could give me an idea as to different career paths associated with it or anyone with experience in this field could shed some light on their path. Thanks Josh

Hi Josh,

That sounds like what I majored in when I finished school. My university had 3 paths for the major: Real Estate, Finance, and Law.

I think real estate finance will really help you understand both the academic side of IRR/NPV/Cap Rate/GRM/etc and being on BP you can network and learn the application and relevance of the academia.

What part of finance interests you the most?
