seeking guidance, practical first steps for starting my real estate journey
For as long as I can remember, purchasing property or investing in a multi-family unit has been on my bucket list. I've dedicated a considerable amount of time to reading books, tuning into podcasts, and educating myself about the real estate market. However, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of markets and the endless research involved.
I’m reaching out to seek your guidance on how to take that first crucial step in my real estate journey. What are some practical actions I can take to get started? Are there specific resources or strategies you recommend for someone in my position?
I appreciate any advice or insights you can provide. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response!

Hi Pinny,
Real estate can definitely feel overwhelming at first! As Jaycee mentioned, it helps to narrow your focus. Start by creating a buybox with specific criteria for the types of properties you want to invest in. Then, pick a couple of target areas and start analyzing deals—even if you don’t have the capital yet. It’s great practice and will make it much easier when you’re ready to put in an offer.
