Hello Successful Investors,

I have read a lot of interesting reports on how to become a successful as a real estate investor. I wonder what is the fastest and most efficacious route to successfully accruing a lucrative real estate portfolio? What first tiny steps should one take? What mix of properties should one plan to develop? And, what tools and methods should be used to do this? Thank you, Laurie

Scott is absolutely right, there is no one answer to your question(s). It totally depends on where you're starting, how much capital you have available, how much time you have available, what your skill set is...

I think the best way to start is to read as much as you can on this site (and listen to the podcasts). There are people here being successful with so many different approaches and they're pretty much all willing to talk openly about what they do and how they do it.
