When should you start looking to hire an accountant/real estate attorney?

I’m looking to start out investing in real estate very shortly. If anyone is in Delaware County, Pa or Philadelphia, I’d love to network with investors, contractors, agents, and more. I’m curious to know when it would be best to look into an accountant and attorney? For context  just got out of college and looking to build wealth as a young entrepreneur but don’t have much wealth… at least yet lol. When is the best time to start incorporating these professionals during the journey?

@William Johnny

Congrats on your graduation. What did you study?

If I were thinking about building wealth fresh out of college, I would begin speaking with different accountants as soon as I start working.

Keep in mind, the accountant who files your taxes may not be the same accountant who advises you on wealth building strategies & thats OK.

Regarding an attorney, it depends what you're looking to speak with them about - i.e. entity structure, partnerships, property acquisition, contract terms, etc.

Anything related to a property or a deal can wait until the week of (sometimes the day before) contract review.

For starters, I would recommend attending local investor meetups. Connect with local investors and RE professionals who are usually willing to share their preferred team of lenders, attorneys, accountants, contractors, builders, etc.

All the best!
