Live in flip?
Hi,
This is my first day and my first question on Bigger Pockets.
Are there any downsides to living in the home you're flipping?
I'd like to "live for fee" by living in the renovation and rent out my current residence. I'd have an investment partner who I'd like to give 50% of the profit to after it's sold. I've been in the home remodeling business my whole life and I see a lot of advantages to this. Plus, who doesn't like to live around that much dust. I don't plan on doing all the work, only what I can do in the time allotted.
Would an investor in my business have any problems with this approach or would they prefer it?
Thanks for any advice you may have!

I've done it but my flips take a little longer since I'm a weekend flipper. 1 cot, 1 box of clothes, and just the bare minimum, saved myself some $ and its my flip only so no partner to worry about. If you can live very simply, no partners it might also work for you.
