Not sure where to buy multifamily
Real quick we live in Maine, own 1 rental home in Arkansas. We can't figure out where to buy our next. Should we keep it close to home? Or should we keep all rental properties in the same state. Both areas are great places to live.

Hey Amy -
Really depends... Keeping it close to home in Maine would make management easier, especially if you're hands-on. However you are familiar with the AK market, local contacts, etc. Do you currently use a PM / would you for your next investment? Also, what type of property (turnkey or fixer-upper) / and your rental strategy (short-term vs. long-term)? Ultimately, it depends on what suits your situation and goals best.
