Lease options in WI a great starting point?

Hi - 

I really have no idea what the case is for Wisconsin, but are lease options a good idea for getting started in real estate with no money in Wisconsin? I've seen these don't work in other states, like Texas. 

Curious on your thoughts. Thanks,
