Hello all! My name is Camilo or Cam if that's easier. I'm 18 years old and from a small town in WI where I was raised but I was originally born in Miami, FL. I came on here because my "why" was to take care of those who took care of me and break the poverty cycle in my family. Real Estate has always been an interest of mine but once I heard about BP and the enormous opportunity it had, I was all in. It's safe to say I'm still new to everything and I'm trying to educate myself but I'm willing to take on all the large obstacles that the process may bring me. I've listened to plenty of pods and have purchased both the Pro membership and Pillars of Wealth. I'd say I'm still new to everything, but I have gotten through the beginner knowledge and mindset shift. My plan is to save and build credit to be able to get a loan for my first rental and most likely use house hacking first (I'm also in the process of a new job to work at for 2 years to build up this credit). I also have someone in my area that has experience in the field owning over 80 homes so perhaps he can be my mentor (also works at this new job). I know this post is getting long but I just wanted to see if anyone else here had the like mind as me and can help someone who wants to learn and grow from square 1. Feel free to drop any quick tips or pieces of advice. Thanks!

@Camilo Castellon Please send me a note at [email protected] and I will gladly send you a free copy of Set for Life if you are interested in reading it as a starting point. I wrote it with you in mind. And, if you read it, I am happy to do a zoom sometime and see how things are going and answer any questions!
