Best Bank Accounts/Credit Cards for Investors Starting Out

Andrew Burrell
Posted

Hi all,

I recently purchased my first investment property and want to set up a separate bank account for my real estate specific expenses/income.

Does anyone have any bank accounts they recommend to open up, as well as any credit cards that have been beneficial for you? (i.e., high points, cash back, etc.)

Thank you!

Andrew

The delta between the absolute best bank account and credit card you could use and the absolute worst is minimal. Sure, one may have better customer service, or points, or user interface, but at the end of the day they'll all get the job done. If you pick the worst choice among all choices you'll still be fine.

I understand being your first property you want to do everything right and not make any mistakes, but the mental energy and capacity your allocating to this decision would be much better served getting your property rent ready, creating an amazing listing, creating a rock solid lease, and thoroughly vetting your tenants.
