New Investor Insurance Questions

Good Day BP Family!

As the title implies, I am new to the rental game and wanting to break in as an OOS investor into Jacksonville, FL.  My brother-in-law is our boots on the ground there, but I am struggling with insurance.  I called an agent he recommended and they want me to complete a full workup just to get a ballpark quote! I am just trying to get a feel to see if the numbers will work on a property we are looking at, and don't want to fill out 45 min of paperwork just for a quote.

Am I wrong here?

Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this?

Anyone have any leads for properties in the Jacksonville, FL area?!

As a first timer, thank you all.

Welcome, Kyle. Florida is difficult as you can imagine with all the companies pulling out of the state. I think it may be worth spending the time on the quote. Premiums are skyrocketing there. Will help give you an actual ballpark of the cost
