Subto Question about DTI for seller

In regards to taking over the payment on a home, how does the seller show that they no longer make the payments on their home I bought? Can buying the home from them help their DTI? Is there paperwork I can present that allows the mortgage reduction to be shown for them? I don't want to strand a seller
