Starting out in Nashville, TN

Hey guys my name is Haley Day. I'm a nurse at Vanderbilt and my husband, Christian, is in the sales department with Orkin. We're in our late 20's! We are VERY new to this whole real estate thing. We just discovered Bigger Pockets and have recently started listening to podcasts, reading, researching, etc. We're very interested and excited to pursue real estate investing, but we just feel a little overwhelmed and don't really know where to start. Wanted to see if there was anyone in the Nashville, TN area that knew of any meet ups that we could join or even upcoming workshops? @Haley Day Congrats on getting started in your investment journey! Nashville is a great city to invest in, and it just keeps growing and all of the surrounding towns continue to grow as well. Clarksville, Columbia, Murfreesboro and even Chattanooga are great towns to do flips in or buy rentals. Talking to other people who have flipped houses helps a lot!
