The Stack Illustration - Thanks Brandon Turner for the great idea!

Hi all,

I am new to RE investing but have been researching for years now the most direct and efficient route to scale and this makes the most sense to me. Each step would educate and prepare me for the next.

I thought I would share this image that I have printed and framed by my bed and as my screensaver. It is my illustration of the Stack that Brandon Turner talked about. In addition, I also want to use a IUL (Indexed Universal Life Insurance) to double dip my investment.

I was thinking to start in San Antonio Texas and or wherever the numbers would work.

Has anyone else done this and what was your experience? Does anyone use IUL for RE investing? I would love to hear some feedback.

step 1 one might actually only be a single family.
Step 2 might be a single family.
Step 3 may only be a single family.
Step 4 may be figuring out how to buy more single families at a faster rate.

That stacking illustration sounds good in theory, but there just seems to be more single-family available for purchasing, than the stairstep illustration. There’s not as many duplexes as one might think. And going up from there in number, becomes even more rare.
P. S. This is just my perspective and experience so don’t let me impede your great plans.
