Looking for advice

Michael Koerner
Posted

I few years ago I bought a 20 acre lot in a nice little lake town in Wisconsin. Currently I lease it out to a local farmer.

Recently,  I’ve been thinking about what to do with it. It’s zoned for residential and I’d like to turn it into a residential community.

My problem is, I have no idea where to start. Can someone recommend a good book or service that can help me develop it?

Assuming you don't have much experince probably best to partner. I would start talking to local builders and see if someone wants to partner, they supply the know how, you supply the land and get paid as the lots get sold. And also, find the best (experienced with development) agent in that town and ask them to represent you.
