Market suggestions: Rental property and Holiday Home
Hi folks,
We are a family of 4. We currently live in San Francisco, however we are moving to Miami, Florida next year
We would like to buy a holiday home that we could rent out when are not using it (for most of the year).
We haven't decided on whether we are doing the short-term or long-term rental route. I don't want the hassle of AirBNB management, but might consider using a really strong local property management company.
What markets should we look at? We are thinking about:
- San Diego, California
- Maui or Honolulu in Hawaii (it seems really expensive). We have the $$ but the rental yield seems poor.
- Saint Petersburg?
- Turks and Caicos?
Anywhere you might suggest?
