Anybody familiar with the Akron market at the moment, I know most people in Ohio tend to go with Cleveland because the low listing prices and low vacancy rates, but how does it compare with Akron, Ohio

Hi Stephan! Welcome to Bigger Pockets! Akron, OH has definitely come up as one of the emerging markets in the last 3-4 years I would say mostly because there have been some big projects happening in the city. @Zach Lemaster from Rent to Retirement offer a lot of inventory in that market and with very competitive rents. I would definitely reach out to them and at least have a conversation since you are considering Akron.

If you have any questions on just purchasing in Cleveland or Akron, feel free to connect with me as well and I would love to chat.
