Is wholesaling a good starting point?

Hello BP. I'm currently saving money to help fund my first investment. I don't plan on investing till about a year down the road just so I can gain more knowledge and get a plan together. In the meantime my wife will go to school to become an agent. As for me I want to be involved in some way other than just reading and listening to podcast. Would wholesaling be a good idea?

Do you have money you are willing to devote towards a sustained marketing campaign for at least 6 months, preferably a year?
