Hello all, I am looking to rent out a property. What steps should I take from this point? I know I will need some sort of lease agreement and some sort of background check to screen possible tenants, but what other important steps are part of the process? Thanks for your help!
Hello all, If I rent out my property for less than what my monthly mortgage is for that property, am I able to get some type of tax deduction when I do my taxes? I heard something to that effect, and just wanted to get some other opinions on this topic. Thanks for your help!

Hello all, Do any of y'all know of any websites where I may do a background check for possible tenants? Also, what type of background check should it be, should it be a credit and criminal background check?Lastly, should I have the tenants pay for it? Thanks for your help!

Hello all, I am in the process of refinancing my home and then getting it rented out. However, the refinance paperwork has not gone through yet and I already know someone that wants to rent out my property. Would it be best to get refinanced before applying for another loan in order to really make sure I qualify for the 2nd loan? Also, should I tell the interested renters that I am glad they are interested and that I just need some time to make sure all the things on my end are lined up? Thanks for your help!

Hello,

Can I get an FHA loan for my second property if I plan to live in it? My first property was financed via conventional loan and I will rent it out if I am able to acquire a 2nd property via FHA loan.

Hello all, I was trying to do some research regarding how rentable single family homes are in the Waco area, specifically In Hewitt. I found some properties listed for over 50 days and still not rented out. Is there anywhere I can find information regarding the likelihood of a single family home renting out in a certain area? **other than going on Trulia or Zillow and looking at how long rental properties have been listed for** Thanks for your help!
