Starting Out - Wholesale Real Estate
Afternoon all,
I've been trying to learn how to wholesale real estate. What are some tips/advice you would give to a new person trying to get into the game?
I feel like a chicken running around with his head cut off but I know i'll learn it eventually.

Hi @Luther Creecy - I understand the feeling. That's how I felt at the beginning too. My first piece of advice is to ignore everything else. Go all in on wholesaling if that is what you choose.
Second, immerse yourself in a program/podcast (does not need to be paid, can be totally free. I made most of my money implementing things I learned for free) and create a plan of action. Don't just listen to information and not do anything with it, I have seen so many people do this. TAKE ACTION.
Third, if you can, find a local meetup where you can meet other people in your area that are actually doing what you want to do. A lot of times you can call the I buy houses signs on the side of the road and meet other wholesalers that way.
Lastly, and most importantly, understand that this will take time. None of us in real estate made money overnight. It took time and effort, but you will get there.
One of my mentors says leaders are readers. That's another thing I highly recommend. Read books (or listen to them). A few of my favorites are The Compound Effect, the Go-Giver and The One Thing.
Hope this helps!
