Getting Started in Real Estate Investing - BRRRR Strategy

Hi there! First time posting here, so please be patient with me.

I know this question has been asked a countless amount of times, but I was hoping to get the most up to date and relevant suggestions.

I am finally looking to just buckle down and start my journey of investing...however I feel a bit overwhelmed as I don't know where to start. I've watched some podcasts on BP, but I feel like its just WAYYY to many episodes to sift through to grab information that I will find useful. I have David's book which I will be starting. Aside from that, can anyone suggest the best course of action for me to take to get me started. I know this isnt a sprint, but more so a marathon. It would be nice to collaborate with other individuals doing the same thing, if its a possibility - I stay in Chicago area.

Welcome!

I think you've got a good start. David's book does a great job of outlining the principles of the BRRRR strategy. Also, if you go to "Forums" and then go to the "BRRRR" tab here on BiggerPockets, you will be able to find more information that is BRRRR related. The most important thing is to stay focused. Learn the basics and then you can start to dive deeper into the nuisances of the BRRRR strategy. I always say read/learn as much as you can but, you'll learn the most from actually getting out there and doing deals.

Best of luck!
