First Property Renovation Finished and Just Listed! Feedback Appreciated :D

Hi all,

My wife and I just finished renovating our first property and turning it into a rental. We did it all ourselves and took a lot longer than expected...haha.

I wanted to share the listing and get feedback from the BP community of seasoned investors and rental operators.

Here is the listing on AirBNB. https://airbnb.com/h/bellflower-house

Also, if you wouldn't mind hearting (saving) the listing as it will help us with the AirBNB algorithm.

    It looks nice!

I wanted to do a search of comparable homes, but when I narrowed it to 3bed/2bath houses there were still over 1,000 listed on AirBnB. Your price is only $133 a night, which makes sense with that much competition. I don't see anything wrong with your marketing and the price seems very reasonable for a home of that size and quality.

I am curious how you intend to make a profit with rates that low, purchase price that high, and so much competition.
