Hello, I am a newbie! I am in Ohio and renting out my first property through a property management company. What info about the renter am I entitled to receive other than a copy of the lease agreement. For example name, occupation, kids/no kids, pets/ no pets.

@Daniel D. you should have spelled this out in your management contract before hiring this PMC.

The lease should have their names and pets. We also put all occupant names on our lease, but not many PMC's do.

Per privacy laws, we can't share credit reports and other personal info - we'd be liable if the owner committed ID theft or allowed it.

Contact ifo is also a no-no, as we dont want an owner going around us and ruining our authority with the tenant.
