  1. Look for an agent with a proven track record of success in working with investors. This can include things like a history of closed deals, a strong network of contacts in the industry, and a deep understanding of the local market.
  2. Pay attention to the agent's communication style and personality. You'll be working closely with this person, so it's important that you feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. Choose an agent who is easy to communicate with and who you enjoy spending time with.
  3. Don't be afraid to ask for references and to speak with other investors who have worked with the agent in the past. This can provide valuable insights into their experience and can help you make a more informed decision. Don't just speak to one person, I've spoken to 2 references from an agent and they couldn't tell me anything other than "they are good". Felt fake.

Remember, finding the right agent is an important step in building a successful real estate investing business. With these tips, you'll be well on your way to finding an agent who can help you take your investments to the next level.
