Motivated New Investor
Good Afternoon All,
My names Ryan and I'm a prospective motivated new Real Estate Investor located here in the DFW area. After doing extensive research on real estate investing and wether it is worth my time or the effort, I came across Joshua Dorkin's book "'How To Invest In Real Estate" which has led me to Biggerpockets.com and I've decided to try my hand at becoming a REI. I am a little overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge that I have been reading up on and have a few questions that have stemmed from it as i'm hoping somebody could steer me in the right direction or if there is a possible meet up in the DFW area in the coming weeks so I could meet with some more seasoned REI's as well.
My questions I have might be more on the basic side but they're my starting point going forward such as, Would an LLC be worth it to separate business from personal accounts as an REI? Is it worth setting up a Texas Series LLC on each property? What type of loan are other REI's using? Is the DFW market a little oversaturated due to the recent boom? What is some other advise that you could spare as far as what to steer clear of or what to jump on?
Any information is helpful!
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and God Bless!
