First step moving forward

Hello!

I have always been interested in real estate and never knew where to start. I recently decided to take action and take a new step every day; otherwise, it would never get done. I began reading books published by BiggerPockets, which made me enthusiastic to be involved in the forums. I am glad to be part of the family here.

So the first thing I have done before investing in real estate and buying my first property is I have googled the population growth rate in Canada. What other indicators/advice would you recommend for me and for new starters to carry on while conducting market research before investing?

@Mahmoud Jabari I would decide what is more important investing local or a certain way. If it is local learn the market and find a strategy that works. If it investing in a certain strategy learn it then find the market. Whether you are investing locally or out of town learning the market and what the market is demanding is huge.

Best of luck!
