A Marketing Idea for Your Furnished Listing

So my mid-term rentals are going strong. I'm very pleased with the response on Furnished Finder. However, there may come a day when my town doesn't need as many traveling professionals. So I'm keeping my options for mid-term renters open. The following is an email I sent to my Property insurance agent over the weekend. I plan to send to other agents in my area next weekend.

I thought I'd share with those of you who are just starting out in furnished rentals. Please feel free to copy, paste and replace details in brackets with the variables that align to your property. Then send it out to every insurance agent in your contact list. let me know if you get good, bad or ugly results.

[Insurance agent’s name],

I’m writing today to let you know that I purchased a [house/duplex/triplex/etc] in [CITY NAME] last year and converted it from long term leases to furnished mid-term leases.

If you ever need to find housing for one of your other clients in between homes, I hope you will consider my [house/duplex/triplex/etc]. I require at least a 90 day lease since I’m not approved for short term stays by [CITY NAME].

Here is the link to the property with pictures:

[URL from Furnished Finder, ABNB or VRBO]

The property rents for $[#,###] per month and includes [water, trash removal, electric and high speed internet]. There is also a refundable deposit of $[#,###] required.

Please keep me in mind should you need to place a client in temporary housing.

Thank you,
