Tips on building personal brand/ growing social media
Hi everybody. My name is Conor Davis and I’m a long time listener of the podcast but relatively new to the forum. My questions for all of you involved growing my personal brand/ social media and general networking. I just graduated from Ohio State in may and moved to Fort Worth for work/ personal investment opportunity (trying to get into a duplex+) once I know the area a bit . My job is in personal lines insurance and as such will require me to build my professional network. Being that I just moved here from Ohio and really know almost no one, what are some ways/ tips for meeting professionals in the industry, or what tips do y’all have for growing my Social network/ outreach capacity?

Go to real estate networking events, be yourself. Do not tell people you have done 100 deals. When you go, be there to listen. Growing a brand takes years. Biggest thing I did to grow our brand was consistency, helping others, sharing knowledge and never asking for anything, but asking people how can I help them.
