What are some of yalls favorite lenders in the DFW area? looking to buy within the year and need lender advice.

Umbrella policies act as additional liability coverage. Tack one on top of your primary policy (home or auto...) and in the event that your limits of liability are reached on your primary policy, the umbrella policy will kick in and pay up to its limits. Common umbrella limits are $1,000,000. So say you have 500k liability on your house plus an umbrella policy, you effectively have $1500000 coverage. Umbrella policies offer the best premium-coverage ratio in the business, so its definitely worth taking a serious look at and probably even talking to an expert to get quoted out.

I certainly agree with Cameron. Getting with a broker will allow you to get shopped around the market. Your broker will provide you with an array of options from the most competitive carriers. All of this leading to multiple quotes should be free and then you'll have a great estimate on costs. If you want to be extra average all the quotes for the best estimate.

First and Foremost, You want to get with a broker. They have the ability to shop around with often 30+ carriers to custom tailor your policy- making sure you get the best coverage at the best price point. When you don't go with a broker, each company is pretty limited in the options they can provide/ they often only can offer one product, so even shopping around on your own and getting several quotes- you wont get nearly the same options. I work for Goosehead insurance, the largest independent brokerage in the country, but there are other brokerages out there as well. I'm in Texas but we do have a Columbus office that covers the entire state.

Thank you!!! Columbus was an option for my new job, but if you’ve ever spent time in central Ohio (firstly sorry) then you understand my desire to be in tx instead!

Hi everybody. My name is Conor Davis and I’m a long time listener of the podcast but relatively new to the forum. My questions for all of you involved growing my personal brand/ social media and general networking. I just graduated from Ohio State in may and moved to Fort Worth for work/ personal investment opportunity (trying to get into a duplex+) once I know the area a bit . My job is in personal lines insurance and as such will require me to build my professional network. Being that I just moved here from Ohio and really know almost no one, what are some ways/ tips for meeting professionals in the industry, or what tips do y’all have for growing my Social network/ outreach capacity?
