Hello everyone!

My name is Arturo Garza and I am new to the Bigger Pockets community. I am enjoying the platform and am very grateful for the all content that's going to help me start my investing journey.

2 years ago I decided real estate investing was the path I wanted to take to be financially independent in my future and to be able do the things I really want to do without being in need of working a boring job. I have been slowly learning about real estate and will start walking the path when I feel ready.

I have been analyzing options (just for practice sake) to prepare myself and to learn how to correctly analyze deals so when the time comes I'll be ready to select my first deal (and subsequent deals). With that being said, I am wondering if there is an experience investor that could walk me through the process and help me learn how to evaluate deals.

P.S. I currently live in The Woodlands, Tx and I'd like to check out deals in other close areas (Conroe, Magnolia, Spring, Tomball, Oakridge, etc...).
