Flipping my way to San antonio

William F. Senkowsky

Hello BP! I’m new on here and hope to make some friends and good connections. I am currently in the process of moving to San Antonio to start a new chapter in life that involves building a portfolio and being available for my kids. I have one property on the market and am in the process of getting another on the market real soon. I plan on using the gains to relocate to SA and get connected to local investors and fellow craftsmen.
I presently live in New Mexico, am a licensed contractor. I’ve been running solo for the past year due to family changes and am looking forward to starting anew in SA. I have experience in custom home building, custom remodeling, finish carpentry and all things that require a power tool.
I would love to jump right on and help add value to any who are rehabbing or know of contractors that are looking for skilled craftsmen that I could do sub-contract work for so I can get my foot in the door and earn a living while I work on my own properties.
I have made contact a realtor who seemed interested in working with me but after the convo today has no interest in helping me with leads nor has any savvy about REI.

Are there any realtors here who would be willing to help me with making my transition somewhat pleasant or at least bearable? There are a couple of distressed properties I’ve been eyeing and would like some insight or advice on how to handle my timeline so I don’t miss out on the opportunities to have a decent start on this new journey…

Thank you in advance and hope to hear back and potentially work with some you in the future.

    Hey @William F. Senkowsky,

Before you start asking for everyone to help you get started, fill out your profile, let everyone know who you are. Post a picture. Add some people as colleagues here on BP.

Also, contribute to the forums. Help others and the help will come your way. And as mentioned above, if you do half way decent work, you will be busier than you can handle. There is plenty of business for good, reasonable priced work.

    Good Luck!!
