Can't get a US home loan when living in Mexico?!
Hi! I'm a super new pro member and starting the multi-family bootcamp today!
I have cash saved up and applied for a pre-approval with my bank ... only to be told that they, and many lenders, wont work with me because I reside in Mexico!
I'm excited to buy my first fourplex in Texas or Florida hopefully and close on it before the end of March. I just need to hop over this hurdle first.
I've lived abroad for the past 12 years, but my permanent address is in Michigan where I'm a resident (gotta love MI taxes lol).
