Owner/Investor/Agent/Manager here - happy to help!

One note: most states require Property Managers to be licensed, but Maryland is NOT one of those states. While having a license doesn't necessarily guarantee professionalism, and vice versa, it is a good indicator. Happy Investing!

@Joe Norman I'd love to chat with a Baltimore licensed property manager to get their take on neighborhoods surrounding Druid Hill park. Who might you recommend? Many thanks!

Quote from @Greg Scott:

Yes, how you sign is very important.

Whether you really need an LLC is another question. Many people *think* they need one, but don't.

@Greg Scott I have an LLC that I set up over a decade ago for an app I developed.
Can or should I use that to purchase real estate?
In your opinion what is the best website to visit to determine whether or not I actually need an LLC to purchase my first property?

Many thanks!

Best of Luck!

I am a US citizen.
My bank lender said clearly that they can't help US citizens who are not residing in the country.
The home loan agent added that working with military personnel stationed overseas is a gray area, but that most in that category already have a place in the States.

ITIN loan sounds intriguing. I need to go learn what those are. Thank you!

Hi! I'm a super new pro member and starting the multi-family bootcamp today!
I have cash saved up and applied for a pre-approval with my bank ... only to be told that they, and many lenders, wont work with me because I reside in Mexico!

I'm excited to buy my first fourplex in Texas or Florida hopefully and close on it before the end of March. I just need to hop over this hurdle first.

I've lived abroad for the past 12 years, but my permanent address is in Michigan where I'm a resident (gotta love MI taxes lol).
