Marketing Ideas for a New Agent

Eric Scott
Posted

Hello everyone! I am a new real estate agent in Orlando, Florida! I wanted to ask everyone on here advice about general marketing in attempt to acquire new clients. I have read things about facebook ads, door hangers, mailers, postcards, and building a social media presence, and wanted to get your opinions on marketing strategies that some of you may have used and liked/disliked. I am already working on building a social media presence, and was considering using a mix of facebook ads/mailers. I have also read some things about Zillow Premier Agent and was not sure how effective that truly was. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!!

You should be looking to join a team at your brokerage to get leads and experience and camaraderie and team marketing. It's also a good fallback for a new agent to say that it's not just me, there is a whole team behind me even though I haven't done a ton of business yet. You should not buy Zillow leads as all the good leads are going to teams on Zillow flex and the spend is not worth it when if you are busy, you can't answer and will miss the call. Take social slow and steady and don't post things that everyone else does.
