Thank you to everyone who responded in this thread, the BiggerPockets community is awesome. I will definitely defer from using other lead sources, and stick to who I know. I am going to look into joining a team to build myself a strong foundation. Thanks again everyone, this information was extremely helpful!

Thank you Jonathan! That is super helpful. I will have to look into teams in my brokerage and find one that would be a good fit. Thanks again!

Hello everyone! I am a new real estate agent in Orlando, Florida! I wanted to ask everyone on here advice about general marketing in attempt to acquire new clients. I have read things about facebook ads, door hangers, mailers, postcards, and building a social media presence, and wanted to get your opinions on marketing strategies that some of you may have used and liked/disliked. I am already working on building a social media presence, and was considering using a mix of facebook ads/mailers. I have also read some things about Zillow Premier Agent and was not sure how effective that truly was. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!!

Hello, I am 19 years old and majoring in Real Estate. I would like to gain some more practical knowledge in the field and first hand experience with real estate as a whole. I have applied to be an administrative assistant with a real estate agent, however, I want to have a back up plan incase I cannot land this job due to lack of direct experience. I am looking for something that is part time due to being a full time student, so if you know of any job ideas or anything of the sort it would be greatly appreciated. I am eager to learn about anything real estate and will take whatever suggestions you may have. Thank you for the help!
