Goodmorning,

I Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying there Monday morning. I have recently joined BP but have been a reader on this website for the past few months. I currently live in Long Beach, CA and work a full time job in the commercial construction industry while also being a real estate agent on the side. My first step into the world of investing was reading a book called “The Intelligent Investor” aka the bible for investing. While this book was very informative and enlightening, stocks and bonds really didn’t get my blood pumping. At the same time, I started doing research on real estate investing and found out about all the different avenues it has to offer. Now this was something that was right up my alley! So then I began planning how I would approach this new found interest. The first step was to read as much as possible and gain all the information that was out there for beginners. Still, in my opinion the best way to learn anything is to put yourself out there and try it. Since I didn’t have any funds to invest, I studied and became a real estate agent. I felt this would help in a few ways by exposing me to the different transactions, give me access to all the information that agents have at there disposal and also help me built funds to invest. This is where I am at today and wanted to finally become part of the BP community. I am here to begin building my network of long lasting relationships and to put my self out there!

Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction.

Welcome Brian! I went the agent route first as well, and don't regret it even a little.
