How many bank accounts?

How many bank accounts do you have for your real estate investing? I am trying to decide if it is better to keep each place in a separate account or if that would be unwise?

Thanks,

Shawn

I believe your security deposits are supposed to be in a separate account. I have 4 accounts: 1)Security deposits, 2)Main rental account that rents come into and expenses go out of, 3)Reserves account for vacancies and large repairs, 4)Investment account for my next purchase of property.
