What to do? Moving from Pittsburgh to FL

Ive just started in real estate investing. I have to peers and mentors who have been very successful and offered to bring me along for the ride. However, I plan to move to Florida within 3-5 years from now to be closer to my family. I actually stayed in Pittsburgh to specifically learn from these guys. We plan on splitting workloads and cash flow to 1/3 per man but how will this effect our team once I move to the other side of the east coast? Anyone ever been in this situation?
