Opening Business Account

Jason Morris
Posted
Hello ladies and gentlemen. I'm in the process of starting my property management business, but I'm getting a little confused on how to set up my business bank account. I filed my LLC in Pennsylvania. I also set up a DBA for my LLC in Pennsylvania. I will be operating mostly out of Philadelphia. The next step is to open a business checking account. The only problem is I reside in NY. How do I proceed? Will a PA branch allow me to open a business checking account with NY State ID? Will a NY branch allow me to open a business account with documents filed in PA? In need of some advice.

@Jason Morris I just want to make sure that you are aware that if you are managing property that is not your own, you are legally required to have a real estate license in Pennsylvania.
