I find a lot of enjoyment and fulfillment out my profession as a child and family therapist. But at the same, I really love what we have been able to do in real estate over the past 3 years. 

What I would like Is to hear from investors who want to keep their job yet have been able to build a sizable portfolio and how they did it.

Been an agent is really great because I do not sell houses, I sell homes, all my clients and now my friends, some of them are already  interesting on investing on RE as passive investors 

I think for the reasons above those that aschew being a realtor and think being a wholesaler is the way to go really miss out on the actual long term benefits of being a broker..  I like you have forged most if not all my business contacts through the brokering of properties or the lending of money to my clients.. and like you many become life long friends..  you just don't get that same connection when your trying to rip equity out of houses's .. or distressed owners are usually one and done
