Internet + Real Estate Business Partnership

I'm starting up a wireless internet provider company and I'm thinking about partnering with the building owners to get access to their facilities and tenants. In return for their help, they would get a share of the monthly service revenue.

The benefit to the building owner is new monthly revenue increasing the value of their property.

The benefit to their tenants is significantly better internet service.

The benefit to my company is lower customer acquisition costs and having someone else help push tenants towards my service.

I'm new to the real estate industry and looking to understand the following:

- Is this type of partnership currently being done for Internet or other tenant services? If so, what does the model look like? If not, is it worth exploring?

- Would it be better to try to partner with management companies or real estate brokers instead of building owners?
