GET OUT THERE!

Hello all and Happy Mothers day to all the mothers here in BiggerPockets!!!

So here's the thing,

Im a Real Esate Advisor (dont like the word agent) lol and i DO NOT like the sales, prospecting side of business so i want to get that out of my head and think of this business a different way. To me this business is about MEETING new people, MEETING new FRIENDS! With this being said, i want to expand my circle and meet people everyday but i feel that doing that, specially as an adult, is looked down upon and it feels "weird" walking up to people in random places so what i want to do is join organizations or clubs but MeetUp seems a bit limited in my area... Could you guys give me some advise on any organizations or places to go to find and meet people more "Naturally"...

If it's in your personality don't just seek to meet a lot of people. Try to be a connector. Connectors are becoming increasingly valuable. When you are the person who knows everyone and can hook them up with the people and ideas that they need you will be a trusted and invaluable resource.

That said, there will be some people who think you are weird. But most will think you are brave, wonderful, and will be secretly jealous you can do that.
